The Delta
By: Tracy Kraft - May 7, 2010
The delta continues to flow
through the ranks.
Yet, I remain here, floating
on this broke-down row boat.
The currant picks up
moving everything forward, passing me by.
I'm planted to the ground
on this broke-down row boat
Someone tossed my oars overboard.
Not sure I can lift this anchor up by myself,
How do I force myself down the Delta,
on this broke-down row boat?
