Same St. Patrick's Day, Different Story...
This time the cab ride home at the end of the night.
Van cab, sliding door that doesn't want to close.
Press the button. Press again. Cab driver yells at me for being "stupid."
He suggests, "maybe your male friends can help you close the door."
Door finally closes.
Angry, but not wanting to give up my ride home, I talk back.
Insults thrashed for 8 blocks.
Arrive and door won't open.
Insulted again.
Homeboy realizes he's locked the door. Idiot.
$5 cab ride. Threw a $10 and said, "keep the change, dumbass."
Sometimes it's better just to get outta there.
