Christmas was spent primarily with the immediate family unit- mom and dad (or, as I call them, 'the forces'), the sister, and me. The day started with some traditional, famous and delicious Sticky Buns. There was parade-watching, paper-reading, conversations with relatives, coffee-drinking and a nice warm feeling. Eventually we made it over to our tree for the gift giving and receiving...but not before a photo montage:

As usual, the gifts were wonderful and everyone was thoroughly excited with their new treasures. However, the real joy was being able to spend the time together.... playing CatchPhrase (almost as cool as Taboo), playing Eukre, eating our traditional Christmas feast, spending time with the newlyweds, walking the pooches, and, naturally, sipping on some wine. :)
